Speaker: Matthew York Price: Free Abstract:
Russia’s war on Ukraine has demonstrated the frightening and painful link between international crisis,
cyber security and warfare, and supply chain disruption. But the risks and threats are not new. Global
supply chains and critical infrastructure have long been held “at risk” by advanced persistent threats --
nation states’ offensive cyber warfare capabilities and loosely affiliated criminal cyber groups.
We’ve already experienced such disruptions on a smaller, more localized scale. The impact of a full-scale
cyber attack on a nation’s energy supply chain, electrical grids, communications, and logistics hubs
would be massive. How prepared are governments and industries to mitigate these risks? How resilient
are we?
In this webinar, Matthew York, a risk and supply management industry analyst and marketer, will
explore:
the link between geopolitical crises, such as the war in Ukraine,
the cyber threats and risks at play not just in war but in peace,
the disruptions they can and have caused to governments and private sector, and
what each is doing to mitigate these threats and drive supply chain resilience.
