We are heading back to Boston for SiRAcon'25 this September 9th - 11th

We are happy to announce the inaugural SiRA Research Competition. SiRA is actively seeking student research on information risk, cyber risk, or any other form of quantitative risk analysis to receive recognition for their research at SiRAcon ‘25.

SiRAcon ‘25 will take place in Boston, Massachusetts on September 9-11, 2025. Our theme this year is “From Zero to Quant to ERM.”

What should I submit? 

Submitted research must represent original work and be of interest to SiRA members. This research may be done as part of your undergraduate or graduate studies (i.e., as part of a course) or as independent research. This research may include use cases, experiments, proof of concept, mathematical/statistical analysis, etc.

General suggested topics include (but are not limited to):

  • AI in Quantitative Risk Measurement

  • Data Science, Decision Science, Behavioral Science

  • Risk Decision Support

  • Measurement Tips, Tricks, & Tools

  • Risk Measurement Outside of Cyber

  • How Effective are Controls?
