Abstract: The Open Group is a global consortium that enables the achievement of business objectives through technology standards. Our diverse membership of more than 750 organizations includes customers, systems and solutions suppliers, tool vendors, integrators, academics, and consultants across multiple industries. Within The Open Group, the Security Forum manages and updates the Open FAIR™ Body of Knowledge, comprised of The Open Group Risk Taxonomy (O-RT) Standard and The Open Group Risk Analysis (O-RA) Standard.John Linford, Forum Director of The Open Group Security and Open Trusted Technology Forums, will present on updates to the Open FAIR Body of Knowledge. John’s presentation will highlight the revisions to O-RT to bring it to Version 3.0 and to O-RA to bring it to Version 2.0. John will also provide a rough roadmap for subsequent changes to the Open FAIR Certification Program and testing materials, covering the expected length of the process and its critical stages.
