Board Elections

The Society for Information Risk Analysts (SIRA) is seeking nominations for leaders who are passionate and committed to serving our membership and making a difference in our community to serve as a Board member (elected officer) for the following positions:

  • President (to run for President you must have served in another Board position)
  • Vice President (1 year term)
  • Treasurer (1 year term)
  • Secretary 
  • At-large board member 
  • At-large board member
  • At-large board member (1 year term)
  • At-large board member (1 year term)

Important Dates:

  • Board nominations are due by July 31, 2020
  • Elections will be held August 2 - August 7, 2020
  • Results will be announced August 16, 2020
  • Board terms begin Sept 1, 2020 and run through Aug 31, 2022

What are the requirements?

  • Must be an active member in good standing.
  • Must be able to allocate 2-4 hours per week on SIRA duties including meetings and related tasks. 
  • Must be able to serve a two-year term.
